AMEX Cardholders - Save Up to 40% on gift card when you use your points

For AMEX card holders, you can use your points towards certain gift cards and save up to 40% point-wise.

Some examples:

$100 AMEX Gift Card - Was 20,000 pts, now 12,000 pts
10 AMC Golf Tickets - Was 10,700 pts, now 8,560 pts
25 iTunes Songs - Was 4,500 pts, now 3,600 pts
